Memory cards for your mobile phones, cameras and other gadgets have been common for a few years now. While cleaning some drawers I came across several memory cards from past that are as small as 64 MB in size. Took a few photos for you if you’re interested ( go beyond the break )
This 64 MB card was was part of my first 3G phone back in 2005.
At iPhone 4’s launch, I will not be talking about Apple here. What I’m after is a Nokia N8 now. I’m anxiously waiting for its launch. Since its announcement on 28th May, I’ve been counting every moment till I can get hold of this device. I’m not going to make it a long discussion but at this point in time, Nokia N8 is going to be the best feature set device. I know I’m a bit biased here but I can’t help supporting Nokia 🙂
Here are a few things that make me crave for Nokia N8
A 12 mega pixel camera
A lovely Xenon flash to support the camera
720p HD video recording at 25 FPS
3D Graphics hardware accelerator with OpenGL ES 2.0 support
HDMI TV out
Huge set of programming options in form of supported APIs
Dual microphone for stereo audio recording
16GB onboard memory and a slot for more. You can add a Micro SD card
Thats not it, you can use ANY USB storage media, external hard drive etc to add storage capability
DivX video playback support
Amazing web browser
And other usual stuff – that is not that ordinary by the way 🙂
You can read the full set of features of the phone here.
As we’ve been talking about 16GB memory card’s compatibility and waiting for the 32 GB card to be available, this is a right time to conduct a survey about the compatibility of this card. If you use a 16 GB card on your phone, please do respond to this simple survey.
This is to confirm for all the memory enthusiasts that BlackBerry 8310 supports both 8GB and 16GB memory cards. These are SanDisk MicroSDHC cards and they work like a charm. Now I’m gonna load lots of movies and gonna watch them on the go 🙂
Word of caustion, its not full 8GB and not 16GB. I’ll soon be posting the reasons in my next post.
