Just got a Nokia N8 and I’m super excited about it. I have not spent much time with it but there are a few first impressions of the device that I wanted to share with you guys.
- Unlike Nokia, its battery is locked inside, you cant remove it (that easily)
- Unlike Nokia, (well unlike most of them) its running pretty fast and pretty smooth out of the box
- Unlike Nokia, it’s lightweight and good looking.
- It has a large camera sensor and a very slim Xenon flash
At least I wasn’t expecting above in the box for me 🙂

Hi..please post more review abt n8, is it worth its price? what about its touch. i have experienced some other touch phones by nokia and they were quite disappointing
@Saeed: It’s actually worth more than it’s price. The touch-screen is as good as any other phone out there. I can compare it with iPhone, Motorolas, BlackBerries, iPods, Samsungs and I find it as good if not better than others.
I know which disappointing screens you are talking about. This one will make you happy 🙂
Couldn’t agree with you more about what you said for N8. It is damn good machine they have made. It will be taken more warmly once they will update the UI as mentioned coming by early 2011. I have seen changes in UI, Map and other places and specially browser has been completely changed and looks better.
